AORC heads to Callalantee August 19th

?

Are you guys gonna be up there Sat and Sun? or just Sat? A couple of us are going to be there Sun and was just wondering. Thanks
 
I may head up there Sat., never been with anyone who knows the trails, if we do make it up there, it'll be me and one more rig.

same time as us. just look for the herd of jeeps rollin in, or unloading. i think there will be 12 goin now in total
 
Well....looks like I'm not gonna be able to make it. Jeep won't stay running long enough for me to cuss at it, so theres no point in dragging it up there if its just gonna block up the trail. Maybe next time :(
 
Sorry we won't get to wheel with you. I'll make sure 4xFever takes plenty of pics. His ride may not make it either. Last time out- he ripped a front U-Bolt plate, ruined the U-bolts and tore out the center pin. He had U-bolts made, but they were the wrong size- he's trying to scounge one up now...

As for me... :huggy: :beer: Chillin- waiting for 8am!!

We will probably be rolling in about 9am or so. If we get there before 9:30 we might hang tight and wait for you guys. If not, I am sure we will run into you at some point. :)
 
I believe we will hit the rock garden at LT first... I'll be in the gray Dodge & 4xFever is in a OD Green FSJ. We will also have a Sami on 36s, 2 CJs on 36s, a Yj on 35s, maybe a tub/Scrambler on 40s and 2 mild TJs and a mild XJ. Possibly more...

We are usually on CB channel 4- Hopefully we'll see you out there!

We'll be looking for ya. For certain we will have a yellow TJ and a blue Rubicon. I was thinking about running Welder first. I haven't been up there since I locked the front and rear and have been wanting to pay another visit to the waterfall. ;)
 
It can be tricky- just don't let off the gas as you start going up!! Good luck!:driver:
 
what a good ride. the trail was conquered by a toyota on 42's and as such has been named "pull cable" we will be goin back over labor day weekend, be on the lookout. good riding with everybody
 
We had a good time as well. I put a 100 degree bend in my tailpipe on Welder and managed to bend it back some but still drug it around a bit. You guys put on quite the show at the rock garden next to Little Tellico. We did get some shots of Travis' flop.
 
Myself and Rocksunlimited made it up there on Sunday. Just in time for the rain and one of the scariest descents we've ever made. Don't know the name of the trail but it was a pucker factor of 1,000 before finally getting back down to the gravel road. Felt like bringing a schoolbus off Mt Everest. :eek:

Russ made it up the waterfall after a few attempts. I got close once but just ended up with my first ever flop instead. Friend of mine got it on video so I'll post it up when he sends it to me.
