April 8-10th TTJ Uwharrie Trip

i may be there depending on if my new job will let me take off... and if i get my paycheck for gas money.. gonna start greasing everything this week in case i can come up saturday morning. Work til 12am friday night. Hope to see yall there
 
Thats cool, we should have 2 JK's in our group, coming up saturday afternoon, Tkob1060 (Tim) and 08_Sahara (Younger Tim)

Make that 3 JK's. I will be there Friday night camping with the ball and chain and wheelin Saturday. Some of you guys I know and some I don't so when you see a white 4 door Jk roll up come and say WASS UP!.

Thats great, I haven't met you but I did see you wheeling a little at Gulches in February. Should be a good time.

If the group keeps growing, I think we will need to break off into 2 groups... I don't want to, but 20-25 rigs in a row may lead to hold ups. We did a group of 14 in december and didn't have any issues, but the trails weren't very crowded.

I guess we will figure it out there.


@ Keith, You bring your recovery gear, I prefer a push bar... Lol jk jk... A little.
 
We will be there this weekend. There are 3 rigs coming in our group. We are staying at Art Lilly. I will be there by Noon Friday. White Excursion with white trailer and White Cherokee. Hope to see some of you all there.

Good to know, I know quite a few of us would have been pretty confused not to find you there.

@ Family XJ, Thats cool, not 100% sure what time we will be there, probably about 6ish on Friday, some of our group will probably be with us, though I suspect most are planning to come saturday morning. Ill be riding in an Camo Chevy Longbed on 37's, might even be towing a blue XJ, not 100% yet.
 
I am out. Broken trackbar bracket. Just found it yesterday and will not have it fixed in time.

Had some delays today, hitting the road shortly, but stopping to grab a bite to eat with the group in greensboro. Probably get there 7-7:30 ish

Camo Chevy hauling a blue XJ, a Gold Xj hauling a trailer, a teal xj hauling a trailer, and another blue XJ should be the convoy.
 
I was there with a friend, ended up going home early. The land rovers suck, they blocked trails all the time and just sat there. If you are going to break down at least don't park 10 cars on the trail for an hour.

Every group of jeeps we passed was nice enough to warn us, theres a bunch of land rovers behind us so we'd turn around and try another trail but they were everywhere.

I'm going to have to make sure never go to URE when they are there again.

Other then them the trails were fine if not a bit too road like so far this year.
 
It wasnt just the rovers... good time though. Great hot dogs.

Heading up there in about an hour for a Sunday ride. Poppin the cherry on the LJ. And my first time to URE, sounds like the Rovers make it a fun time <insert sarcasm>. See you guys there. Silver/black LJ, black LJ, and whatever the other guy's brining
