April 8-10th TTJ Uwharrie Trip

Hate i had to miss this one but the jeep should be done by today. Thinkin bout ridin down next weekend to test it out b4 Gulches if anybody wants to join.

Just wanted to touch base, I had a ton of text messages from people over the weekend, but they were coming so spotty it was impossible to keep up.

I sheered my Tie rod end, and then in an attempt to rig it to get it out, we ended up tearing it up worse, the list of repairs is pretty long.

Thanks for Mudder/Burrells/TJC for winching my beater off the trail.

Zach, always good to see ya, hate you snapped a shaft but glad you were able to get trailered to the house.

Chris, I may be going next weekend to help with the workday, so if you go let me know.

We got my jeep out of the way and let it sit until this afternoon when traffic died down, went back and used muffler clamps to fasten the steering enough to get it outta the trail and onto the trailer.

There were a few good pictures taken from our group, so hopefully they make it on here.
 
me my wife and girls were up there and riding on saturday, didnt hook up with any groups but i think we saw the larger group of jeeps, and we got turned around to becuase of the rovers broken on the trail... hot dog guy the bbq was great my wife loved it... did your wife get warm after the icecream.
 
did the kodak area change from last year? it looks different in the videos from what I remember. maybe its just the angle.

Looked alot different to us than it did in december, but maybe the snow had an effect on that.
