Just wondering, outside of the automotive area, are you brand-loyal?
For instance,
I only go to Lowes, never Home Depot. I guess that's because both my grandfather and my Dad retired from Lowes, and I own a little stock in Lowes.

Another one for me is Sun-Drop. Just because it tastes so damn good!

Depends on use.

If it makes me $$, yes.
Knives, yes.
Camping gear, usually.
Welding, mostly.
Household, no.

Lowes
Miller lite
Wild turkey 101
Bp gas
John Deere Tractors
Cat diesels
Marlboro lights
Uws toolboxes
Snap on wrenches
Browning rifles
Sig pistols
Levi Garrett Chaw
Pizza Hut pizza
Scott fly rods
Jones brothers skiffs
Worn out jeep Xj yj cj
Short thick women
Mtn dew
Wd40
Dekalb corn
Lincoln welders

Dukes mayo is non-negotiable.

Everything else I keep an open mind but am by nature a creature of habit and stick with what works. On the flip side i am curious about other brands and ideas (no I'm not a fag) but for the most part I am disappointed when I deviate from the trusted items.

My most recent deviation from the norm is Rufus Teague BBQ sauce (only as a back up); I always make my own.

We buy some stuff because we've tried alternatives and found them inferior... Heinz ketchup, Duke's mayonnaise, Mt. Olive kosher dill pickles, Cottonelle toilet paper.

You CAN fix Hunt's ketchup if you add salt to it.

I find Home Depot has better deals than Lowes though both of them have some things that are better than the other. I often shop online and compare prices/products @ both stores before I go as they are across the street 10 mins. from me. Mostly HD get's my $$ because their customer service is a helluva lot better than Lowes and more than a few times lowes was out of things that their website said they had in stock. I have been shopping @ Advance Auto for decades, but they've been pissing me off lately. I will never set foot in a phukin autozone again. Oreilly's is hit and miss, but they have price matched shit that Advance had on sale, but did'nt have in the store and they did it w me just quoting their prices!

WBTV News..... Though that may be changing soon...

AAP platinum here. I will second source if I needed it yesterday.
Lowe's, though I hate their exchange policy on hand tools(Really need to see my ID. When this tool has your name cast into it to get a new one for the one I snapped like a twig with bare hands, no pipe!?!? Love the 18" flex head 3/8" but I broke my first one in nine months, second one in one month, not too thrilled)
Hardee's or Bojangles FTW.
Jeep (of course)
Dayco, Moog, FelPro
3m super 33+ only (stupid priced, excellent product)
No loyalty on color of my welder, it's China black
Forney/HotMaxx fcaw wire (AC wire fed.. not all flux core likes AC)
No loyalty on power tools, quality has to be there.
Plenty of my own brand axle sockets.
Toolbox - roller - don't care
Metals - USA produced
Anything still made state side is good, expensive or not, it's someone here I'm helping.
'nuf said.

Nobody makes anything like they used to. Some get better, some get worse. No major loyalties here. Winston cigarettes. Chevy trucks. Otherwise, it's pretty much what's on sale. I've got brands that I know I like, others I like more when I've got the money for them.

Dukes mayo
Hunts ketchup
Klein insulated tools
Fluke meters
Advil
Beyond that...not really loyal to anything. In all those cases I've tried other brandside with less than acceptable results.

I know Heinz is the normal standard. But it just tastes too sweet to me.
Hunts has a more tomatoe true taste to me.

Ford
Yeti
Rainbows
Red Wing
Bud Light
Orvis bags
Old Navy Jeans
Henckels
Dukes
Daisy Sour Cream
LaCrosse
Penn
Blue Water Candy
Yozuri
Costa

Try to buy union made but that's damn near impossible at least AMERICAN made. We need to support our own country and keep these shady corporations from sending our jobs overseas. Just learned this week that Nabisco closed factories down in the US that makes Oreos, Chips Ahoy, and Ritz and opened a factory in Mexico. Don't know about you but I've had a bad experience eating or drinking something in Mexico and I'm not knowingly going to buy or eat this shit.

Fords or Chevy cars and trucks
Jeeps
Dukes mayo only
Carhart
Georgia boots
American made Keen hiking boots
Benchmade knives
Local mom and pop restaurants and businesses
Hilti power tools

I was born in Pennsylvania, Heinz is in my blood:D, it's the only ketchup I've ever known. Melissa failed when we first got married with some hunt or thrifty maid and I informed her nothing else will ever come in our house, she returned that junk to the store.

That's really the only thing I can think of that I have to have.

For a decades I was loyal to Hanes socks b/c of the Winston tie.
Then I got to where they just wore out too fast, couldn't take it anymore.
Now I 100% buy nothing besides Darn Tough socks. Made in Vermont, lifetime guarantee.
