Are you brand -loyal?

The Majority of my loyalty is driven by the following:

-Made in USA: (If you don't want to support the people that make up the country you live in, time to find a new one which is why I haven't bought a craftsman hand tool in almost a decade, I can't always afford American made, but I refuse to pay the craftsman premium for something made in the same factory as the Harbor Freight trash).

-Customer Service: (I can forgive a manufacturing defect, if the customer service rep. answers the phone, speaks English, and can rectify the issue quickly without long lead times or my out of pocket expense, this always get a company a second chance).

-Item Longevity: (If my battery powered, right angle milwaukee drill lasts 5 years of my extreme abuse/misuse....when it dies, it gets replaced with an identical milwaukee....nothing lasts forever when used outside of its original design parameters).

-Value to cost ratio: I have always been a GM man, but plan to pickup my new Ram next week......all the GMC dealers wanted an additional $10k for last years truck that still didn't have the amenities the Ram did.

-Does it still taste as good as I think it should: (lots of people talking about Ketchup for some reason.....I use to love raspberry zingers, but they have gone to Shh...Eye....T! so they are dead to me)

Brand Loyal... Hmm.

Jif Peanut Butter
Old Spice Deodorant
Tide Detergent
Women just a little on the trashy side
Other than that everything is more of preference.

Rottweilers over any other Breed.
Gatorade over Powerade
Monster over Redbull
Red Oak is my first choice for beer, but a free beer is rarely turned down.
I buy American where possible.

Try to buy union made but that's damn near impossible at least AMERICAN made. We need to support our own country and keep these shady corporations from sending our jobs overseas.
American made yes, Union not so much if I really knew which is what. But that's another topic.

Kraft mac and cheese because generic sucks.
Glad trash bags because generic sucks.
Natty Light beer. Period.
My own ammo. Well, you know...

Bought a Ram 1500, eveyone I work with was like, I thought you are a Chevy guy, I'm like, I don't have Chevy $$, but I would never buy a Ford.

Heinz ketchup was my #1 but then they had to go and disrepect French's and make mustard, now I buy French's mustard and ketchup, it's as good if not better.

Name brands are losing their meaning anymore, craftsman tools are no snap-on but use to have a good name, they are made by Apex tools from China, company makes most of the crap tool brands out there. You can't trust most brands to be what they built their name on, eveyone cuts corners or sells out to another company that just puts the once good name on crap.

Prefer GM trucks, just bought one but not opposed to Ford. Just don't like them not having a tilt wheel, and there's a bit more leg room in the GM.
But GM's I have always considered the best, and that opinion's not changed to this point.

Heinz usually, but Hunt's is good too, so guess I'm neutral there.

Jif
Name Brand cereal, not that damn store brand knock off, so "real" Cheerios, Wheaties, etc.

Irish Spring bar soap, the original kind, and with Aloe in the winter. Other crap the wife used to buy made me itch, and Irish Spring doesn't, so I don't care if there's some other brand besides that I can use. It's not worth itching to find out.

Aquafresh tooth paste. Extreme Clean. Won't use anything else.

Levis Jeans. 505's.

Hershey's chocolate, if I have a say in it.

Godzilla. Not King Kong.

Marvel ahead of DC. DC making crappy movies certainly hasn't helped change that.

College sports and not pro. Both football and basketball (is there really anything else?) are better with college. Atmosphere...everything.
