Live in Waynesville which is like 15 min from Asheville. Go wheeling alot. Probably go alot of places that alot of you would love!! Mostly locals know about. We have a group of about 7-10 trucks that go every weekend. Hit me up if anyone is interested.

Also we are up for new trails so anything within an hour or two we would love to find.

There is a ton of fun trails right on the TN border. I never knew they where there untill friends showed me. You can ride on some really fun trails for hours there.

Not sure what they are really called, i only know them by what the locals call them.

this trail im talking about you get off at the exit right past the pulloff for hurricane creek and take a left. then you go under the interstate and across the river, then the road turns to dirt. then you go about 5 miles untill you see the trail on the right. its a long winding downhill mud fest with a pretty sweet river crossing at the end. then you ride more dirtroads till you end up at the hydro-eletric plant.

Is this a legal trail??

i would hope so... seeing how there is a tourist company right across the border there in TN that runs old military H1's build to hold 15 or 20 people in the back... up and down that trail. it must be legal.

If you are talking about where I think you are. I go down there all the time. It is part of the 12 mile strip and it is FS land. There are all kinds of trails in there but only a few of them have any obstacles on them, most of them are just dirt roads and mud. The trail you are talking about used to be a whole lot rougher, but about 3 years ago they took a dozer in there and smoothed it out. The trail is starting to get a few good spots in it again though.

Im not messing around! Thats my truck. Didn't hurt anything turning it over, had it back over and wheelin again in 20 minutes... its all part of the fun.:bounce2:
