Im down for helping clean up...i am a wcu student and as far as caney fork goes some of the trails are currently open but there are gates up that will open in mid aprilish but they are still open to public also they are kinda beat up so unless u got a lift and buddies you MAY not make it up there

If you can get on Couch I know several people, myself included that would be willing to work with the owner(s) to clean the place up/maintain it in exchange for riding there. I live less than a mile from Couch and would do anything to get back in there.

my best and worst wheeling days have been on that mountain.
it will be hard to get opened up but it's worth trying, i think the owners closed it off cause they were trying to sell off the land but i dont see that happening with the current economy so that may be a good thing if people are willing to pay to ride.

Well lets bring back an old thread... I take it couch mountain never took off and it seems daily that local places are being shut down or closing. Anyone have any new local places to wheel?
