Ask NC4x4: Where to eat in the Maggie Valley area

Its like Ask Jeeves, but with more memes and wheeling shenanigans.

My wife and I will be spending a weekend in Maggie Valley in a few weeks and were looking for the good local hole in the wall restaurants and breweries to check out that the Google machine doesn't tell you about. What say the brain trust here?

This will be the first big road trip in our TJ since I V8 swapped it (hackery can be seen here). The route is Birmingham to MV to spend a weekend, then to Knoxville for a few days via Deals Gap / Tail of the Dragon, then to Nashville and home. I don't see what could possibly go wrong with this plan!
