BACON --- Crispy versus Chewy

Just about perfect...

Anyone every try it in the oven at 300deg on a pizza pan? My newest favorite way to cook it. I make bacon/egg/cheese bagel sammiches quite often that way.
 
Crispy because everything taste better slow cooked. Chewy bacon is a choking hazard.

Bacon is a choking hazard no matter how you cook it......IF YOU FORGET TO CHEW IT FIRST!! :eek: or you shove too much in your mouth at once!! :lol:

The best way to cook bacon is to wrap it around a big ole hunk of seasoned deermeat, Beef tenderloin, or a giant Sea Scallop, stick it w a liquidsoaked toothpick, and grill it on charcoal or hardwood coals till it's brownish. Then it's crispy on the outside but not overcooked on the meatside. The meat inside is usually perfect when the bacon turns brownish. DAMN............I just made myself hungry :(
 
My mom wasn't the greatest cook in the world....the smoke alarm was the timer so to speak.

Now I like everything crispy.

I love dove breast and backstrap cooked like this /\ I soak my picks in Dale's marinade and drop a couple jalapeno rings on the picks!!! they never make it to the plate beside the grill everybody eats them straight off the grill!! oh and side note after several adult beverages the guys will start eating the toothpicks instead of just chewin them up haha!!!
