Basement wheeler...

Nice color. I like it, looks way better that just black or gray. I will look alot better with some rock pinstripes. No time for sleep now, get that thing done. Take a bunch of pictures, because this is the best it will ever look. Thanks for all the comments on the chassis and the work. If anyone is interseted in getting some work done let me know. I can handle mild to wild.

Thanks
Chris

Got the gauges in. These things are cool they are the indiglows that go from greenish to blue. Picked up the boost vac. at a salvage store for $10 new in the box and then had to have the rest to match. (I'll sell off the VDO and Autometer gauges I had). Got alot of other stuff done today but no really changes to look at(Correct bolts in tranny...etc...etc...)

Looking good. Looks like those studs come in handy for running wires. Looks a little cleaner than a zip tie. I'm ready to see it on its lid spinnin tires.

Get it done--don't sleep---don't eat----don't work----BUGGY TIME ONLY

Your project is very impressive, seems like you thought everything out and you haven't done any rework or backtracking. Have you built previous rides like this one? It's got lines that seem real unique, that's what I like most along with the "craftmanship" you've put into it. The details really show it off.

The fab work was done by Chris(792.5cj5) there was alot of talk about what I wanted. He's built a couple of rigs. I'd say the best thing I did was to go on several trips riding in as many rigs as I could to see what I wanted the weighing the pros and cons. Yes I gave up some wheel base to get a 3rd seat, yea I gave up some size to make it comfrotable ride for weekend wheeling. Was all this worth it, I think so. Thanks for all the good comments.

Most any fastner supply can get those clamps "sharky", we use alot of them on the equipment we build. They are available in different styles of coatings (banded or dipped rubber) and go from 1/4-3" + clamp sizes. We mount alot of smaller ones with a self-tapping 10-24 stainless screw. They are fairly common on large trucks.

Very cool. Those should work out well for several things I have to do. Thanks for the info.

Yeah stock ret manifold. Got it for like 199.99 for toyota, was going to make one but was worried about it holding up(stress cracking from offroading).

Got the oil cooler and accumalator(sp) plumbed in and spent about 3 hours doing. It doesn't look as good as I'd like it to, but it'll work.
