Basic Floor Layout drawing software

Screw you, I'm a mechanical system guy. :flipoff2:

I'm just learning this Revit stuff. This was my first attempt at using Revit Arch 2010, I normally only use Revit MEP 2010. I've been stuck in AutoCAD 2D for the last 3.5 years at my current job. I'm a SolidWorks guy at heart, just stuck in a good job that is only HVAC and mechanical systems. It's weird going from drawing parts for the F-22 Raptor and Trident class submarines in SolidWorks to ductwork layouts and piping systems in AutoCAD. But gotta go where the money is. :)

And I was also kidding about using Revit, I just wanted to show off my fancy rendering. No one really wants to use Revit.

And just for the hell of it, I'll post another one because I'm bored.

I beg to differ. Revit and I are getting married... as soon as my divorce w/ SketchUp goes through.

I'm a SolidWorks guy at heart,

I used to be a SolidWorks guy and then they promoted me. Now my SolidWorks skills have been reduced to importing solid models or cross sections into a PowerPoint presentation to justify our engineering budget to corporate.
