On the way home just now, 55mph 2 lane road, came up on a car that had stopped to let kids run up to a house. WITH NO FREAKING LIGHTS ON.

I was alongside him in the opposite lane before I came to a stop. It was almost loaded down F250 vs. a Taurus.

Aloha snackbar could take out 50-70 in my neighborhood with ease

Yep, that's good. That guy has always been trouble. One less meth lab. Word is he'll do real time on this one.

Damn, is that the new normal?

They come from miles around and park on the main road of our neighborhood. Apparently they're folks that live on main roads, or not in a neighborhood, or for some reason believe we give full size candy bars. No idea, just know they come to the door by the dozens with the parents holding bags as well. When we USE to give out candy I refused anyone over 13 or too lazy to costume up. But now I'm so jaded I just turn on the sprinklers and smoke a cigar in the garage with the doors up with an AR on my shoulder and OWB full size handgun on my belt. Usually deters the disgruntled beggers

I like your style. You could step it up for next year and run red water through the sprinklers, while blasting Slayer 'Raining Blood'

We don't get any visitors. Kinda nice, don't even need to buy any candy. With all of the neighborhood trick-or-treat maps on Facebook, and all of the lazy people and nearby neighborhoods of high-density tract homes, we haven't had a single kid come by in 4 years. Not even the neighbors bring their kids by to say hi.

No one wants to mess with acre lots and houses set back from the street when you can hit 6 times the house density for as long as your kids feel like walking with the lure of easy candy.
