bead balancing

I ordered the real Dynabeads and put 8oz in my front tires last night. Heavyass DIY beadlocks and 36 bias IROKS never been balanced. First impression is it works but today I will do the rears and test drive again.

I mounted my xmls the other day 325/85r16 (38.5x13.5r16) on custom made 16x10 rockcrawlers. I used 14oz of .20 g airsoft also. It was smooth until 35mph then shakes but goes away around 40 then I drove on the interstate and it shook at 65-70 I replaced a shot bushing in the track bar but still have a bad hiem joint at my pitman arm. My shaking seems like death wobble not so much in the tires. I also did not remove the weight patches in the tire (dude at the shop mounted them for free and his boss was in route so we were in a hurry) We tried to use the balancer but my 2.5" backspacing was just too much. I have driveshafts made from pto shafts so I do get vibrations from that also with 35s it was at 45mph.

I got them off of a fellow nc4x4 member Jodyfj40. He grooved them and they came off a jeep with a big motor. He was a very nice guy and gave me a killer deal.

You can find them if you look they are not too hard to find. Try surplus military guys and even the guys that get the H1 wheels, If they don't have them they can probibly get them, I know these are from the Canadian Military and are produced in Canada.
In a 38s you can get XMLs, XLs, and XZLs. The XMLs are the widest. You need 16" rims 8" wide rims for the XLs and XZLs and 10" wide for XMLs. This is to get the best contact patch because the tires are rather flat across the tread.

BTW what does (DW = No good!) mean?

Death wobble gone!!!! tire are balance good at least till 50 mph. Need to check the driver side ball joints because the passenger were shot. I pulled the hub apart and found water and mud in my hubs and a bad wheel bearing.

BTW To measure the correct weight for my tires I used a paitball hopper speed loader filled all the way up with airsoft BBs which was exactly 14oz.
