We usually go to Lubranos or Rome Italia to grab a pie and there used to be a place that is now closed called High Point Pizza that had some killer Pizza.
Where do you guys prefer when looking for NY style?

Pollo pizza is pretty good.

But it’s all about preference I guess. People love and think that 5 guys is the best burger. I think it’s borderline McDonalds and would take a bigMac over 5 guys any day.
I think Five Guys is better than Mcdonalds but I do agree that Five Guys is overrated. I would take Wendy's over Five guys any day

Mario's next to Harbor freight in HP has good pizza. But we've found that Mamma Mia's in Wallburg is better than Mario's recently. Not sure if they changed their crust or what, but their 2 topping large for $10.99 is pretty good

No idea down that way but the best I’ve ever had is in Tryon NC at Side Street Pizza

ive been craving their wings but figured need to wait out the horse games. but! i do have their wing sauce recipe!!

No one mention Elizabeth’s Pizza yet? The one on battleground is the better restaurant.

We don’t eat pizza that often but when we do we head to Sticks and Stones on Walker ave. Their beer selection is usually pretty good as well.

I really like Anna Maria's in Carrboro for NY style, really tastie garlic knots too.

Add on question.
Who has a good Chicago Deep dish style?
Never been to the windy city but have been close enough that I should have rode on in. I seen a food reviewer years ago say that you could lose your car keys in a legit Chicago deep dish. That statement alone has haunted my dreams. I will get back out that way and try one but if anyone has any local suggestions I am open.
