It's a search, but they're out there, current bike is a TREK Navagator 3.0, it's not a fast bike, but it seems to be pretty stout, and it's comfortable. Former bikes where a Schwinn World Road bike, GT Karakoram K2 mountain bike (1989 vintage, still have this), and a couple different old Raleigh road bikes.

My sleek physique may not allow you to believe that I've been into bicycling for a long time, in fact that's part of my problem, I used to ride all the time, life got in the way (work, married, kid, responsibilities) and the current me is what you see, medical challenges over the last many years haven't helped. I've always been big, it's a Midwest thing, but this big is a recent thing.

We rode part of the Neuse River trail few weeks ago, first time I'd been out for a long time, realized how much I missed riding.
