Biggest Waste of Money?

1) when it comes to jeans...I buy the $25 variety from BassPro
2) hookers and blow
3) generally adhere to ‘waste’ is in the eye of the beholder...that’s what expendable income is for.
That is completely based on having expendable income. Some of us have no idea what that means....never seen or had any in a very long time.

You're referring to theft.

Biggest waste of money is government.

Taxation IS theft

and yes...I'm referring to the fact that every penny I send them is apparently wasted or used to take away more of my freedom (I don't NEED your roads nor police "protection"/revenue generators

Bourbon, I’m not a drunk or anything but the high end stuff from wild turkey and woodford reserve gets to me.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m in a couple groups where people are buying bottles at prices that make you wonder where you’ve gone wrong in life. It typically helps me feel better about buying a $50-100 bottle.

Going out to eat.

Geez...that one is a never ending battle. Sure, I’ll grab something on the way home hunny...ehhh, I’ll splurge just this once for lunch, then snowballs in to $50/day for a few weeks.

College/University (in terms of return on investment)

I’d qualify that one for degrees for jobs that require you to make hemp necklaces and capped at $40k/yr.

Shoot me a link if you will. Was interested in Flaviar, until I saw how much it was just to join. wasn't going to unless I knew someone who thought it was worth it. I've become a bourbon snob. It's helped my alcoholism significantly, because NOW I only drink what I can't afford, so I'm usually NOT drinking

Did not know that...thanks. I only buy 4-5 pair every 3 years or so...but I’ll definitely have to remember that.

I normally pick up 2-3 pair every black Friday, just stroll in at ~10:30 & since I wear a 36" inseam, they usually have plenty on the tables (in front of the fly shop). When I worked there, I'd get a list from family members & use my discount to get them for $6. Wish I still had access to that discount, 40% off gun safes would be great!

Have a cousin that got married in the 80's, her dad was a big wig on wall street. Had a huge wedding at St Patrick's cathedral in NY, multi story yacht for the reception cruising around the harbor. The money for that wedding was more than my first house. They gave her the option of cash instead. I'm guessing now that she's single she wishes she'd have taken the cash.
2 of my wife’s old coworkers both pharmacists and about 300k in debt from the phd got married at the biltmore and reception at the grove park inn. She candidly admitted it was over 180k and her parents only agreed to 20k so she financed it. Could you imagine paying a mortgage note on a single party that’s over in 5 hours. She also leases a Mercedes s class. There will be a reckoning at some point, but people are crazy with money

Also, seema type build especially lifted to the sky trucks that still tow heavy

A lot of the oil workers in Mississippi Louisiana and Texas have these rigs towing excavators and such

Biggest recurring waste of money is the lottery. It's unbelievable how many people i see put $10 worth of gas in their pos vehicle and then buy $20 worth of scratchers.
The lottery is a government tax on the mathematically challenged.

My biggest waste of money was my marriage certificate. Damn thing still costs me money every month even after I returned it 🤷‍♂️
