What's out there at can't miss prices?

I saw one or two of the sporting goods stores have Ruger LCPs for $199, lots of sales on ammo, etc.
DPMS AR15s for about $475 at a few places.
Tons of sales on gun safes.

Several places have the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1/2" impact for $279. It is my go to for tough/big bolts and has made my air impact obsolete. Seems pricey at first, but I highly recommend it. They were nearly $400 when I was looking for them a year or two ago.

I'm mostly interested in a lithium drill and impact driver, since one of my dewalt batteries took a shit. But if I could get a 3/8" impact for cheap...

Just an FYI those are really cheesy. Probably worth that for someone just wanting to plink with but know it's low quality compared to a sig.
Agreed,I think the quality of most low end guns (esp Mossburg) has went to shit.I wasn't necessarily promoting it just putting it out there.

the Milwaukee impact is awesome though.

My Milwaukee tools are all 15+ years old. Only trouble I've ever had out of any of them was due to power cords wearing out.

By that measure, it stands to reason that I should never have a problem out of a cordless Milwaukee.

Or just get a 10/22 :). I saw several adds with them in the $199-$220 range.
I saw those also.Thats more than I paid for the one I got Jake,it was $149/$159??

I don't have a Fuel one, but my 1/2" cordless Milwaukee impact has been great. Went with the pin detent, as I didn't want to have to worry about the friction ring coming loose. I don't change sockets all that often during a job, so it hasn't been a problem.

I hate the pin because some of my sockets have a hole, and once the pin clicks in, you have to get a small screwdriver or nail and use 3 hands to get it loose.

I do keep a spare mini screwdriver in the case just for that purpose :p

Ha. For about the last 4 years at this time I've posted asking about cordless impacts with the intent to buy one. Maybe this year I'll actually do it.

I know its quite a bit more than a Milwaukee but my snap on has been beat on pretty hard for 8 years now and has held up good.

Isn't this the same but w/ 2 batteries, case etc?

EDIT - note this is the 2755 impact wrench, the previous links appear to be the 2753 impact driver

The 2763 is the friction ring version. The 2655 is the pin detent version. It's just a question of how the socket is held onto the gun. Those are the only differences.

Scratch that. The friction ring one is more powerful. And there are friction ring versions and pin detent versions of both if you dig enough.

The big daddy 2763 is the one I was talking about. 1100ftlbs loosening torque. I also have the 2755 and it is my go to, since it works for 95% of the stuff I do and is much lighter, more compact, and better balanced.
Roger.
FYI here is the 2763 now for 279 under "other sellers"

hm tough call now. I love the idea of 1100 lbs of torque but a very rarely need that, and would rather have something easy to carry around

Killin me bros. Number differences are crucial.
2755- small 1/2" impact, FUEL BRUSHLESS, light, compact, ergonomic
2663- big 1/2" impact, NOT brushless, heavy, awkward balance, 450ftlbs max
2762- big 1/2" impact, FUEL BRUSHLESS, heavy, awkward balance, 600ftlbs max
2763- big 1/2" impact, FUEL BRUSHLESS, heavy, awkward balance, 1100ftlbs max

And there's a bunch of varieties of the non brushless compact impacts, but they are mostly the same motor/torque.

@shawn the one I had at your house was a 2755

@RatLabGuy the ad you linked is a 2663. If I could only have one, it would be the 2755, and a breaker bar.
