Just picked up a 36" Blackstone. Got it all seasoned up and did a big batch of hibatchi chicken/shrimp with rice and veggies. Turned out great and everyone loved it.

Anybody got any must do recipes on the griddle?

Blackstone Betty on youtube has some good recipes, and she’s easy on the eyes.
There’s also another youtuber that does tortellini on the blackstone. I’ve done it and it turned out great.

We love it for breakfast, you can cook all the bacon, eggs, and pancakes all at once!
Breakfast is where the blackstone shines IMHO.
I still havent perfected eggs on it, well my eggs get black on them. Doesnt bother a fat guy like me but the girls wont eat em.

Obligatory smashburgers post. But they are good. I generally prefer a thicker burger but for a change of pace

Camp hash…brown up a bunch of ground sausage and then cook the eggs in them.

Doing regular eggs, put them on mid temp and cook in whatever grease is leftover from bacon/sausage etc.

Pork chops cook pretty well on a blackstone too. I’ll regularly do pork chop sandwiches for lunch at races and on wheelin trips if we go back to camp. Takes 15 min and absorbs the early beers.

Thin steak works well too, also you can chop it up and make phillys too

Shrimp or chicken fried rice is easy. Did this on our 17" that came with our camper. 20220721_185437.jpg

The Hungry Hussey is another channel. My cousin knows the guy and his brother and recommended it to us.
This

Hussey is an NC local (Thomasville) and is a good ole boy. Got quite a few friends that know him & went to school w/ him.

Great channel, watch it often.

Also...go here for a thread on here w/ a few pages for reference

We do quesadillas a bunch. Get the HT bulk boneless chicken deal, fajita seasoning, throw whatever we don't use at that time into freezer bags with the same fajita seasoning. Steaks are also really good and simple. salt/pepper em after they're patted down and at room temp, get the griddle good and hot and throw them on for 4-5 mins per side.

Pancakes are also good on there, like Ron said, breakfast is where it shines. I really got it so that I could make good shredded hash browns.

So far, I've done hibachi, steak tacos, and breakfast. Loving it so far. Will check everything else out.

Thanks!
