What’s better: hard cover or hood?

It isn't like a gas grill, most of the hoods are not designed to be used while cooking. I use foil pans or metal bowls when I need to cover an melt something
 
Using the hell out of our at the beach haven't cooked anything that wasn't on here including biscuits and cinnamon rolls.

I like the lid because it allows you to steam some stuff and convection biscuits a little bit

I assume you are asking me. It's a steelmade brand top that sits on my glass cook top. They have them for stoves and whatnot.
yes, sorry i should have directed it better. I will have to look into that. I hardly use my Blackstone because its on a back porch. When its cold and wet I dont want to cook eggs in the morning. :laughing:
