Blackstone ?'s

Another blackstone fan

They are a bit messy and clean up can be aggravating but love ours.

I bought a 22" with the hard lid for the camper. the camper came with an 16" that had one burner and couldnt ever get it to have consistent heat. the black stone is great i cook pretty much everything on it when we go camping.

Note of consideration: They are extremely easy to detach from the cart legs, and put them into a fancy cook station build
This might have just convinced me to get one. Been working one my outdoor grilling and chilling station this year and it’s time to get some new toys.

Blackstone is great. I converted mine(36") to run off natural gas and its awesome not worrying about a tank. I've done hibachi, philly cheesesteaks, steaks you name it.

I love searing steaks on it. Smashburgers are another great thing to do.

I’ve always been a charcoal guy, but once I got a blackstone a couple years ago and made my first smash burgers on it, my kids only want blackstone smash burgers, no more grilled burgers.
Mine is the 18” portable version and I store it in the kitchen cabinet, just take it outside to the picnic table to use it. I want a big one though.

They make a new camp stove as well.

I have one and used it once. Verdict is still out. The cooking surface doesn't seem to be the same seasonable cast iron. Its more like cooking on a non stick skillet.

Tip ive learned. Every spring with the first bit of warm (because im a pu55y for cold water in the cold weater), I take a wire wheel and dawn detergent and i clean it extremely well. Rinse really well. And immediately cook bacon covering every square inch. Seasoned perfectly and gets rid of that gradual buildup over winter from hurried/rushed cleaning (brrrrr)
When I talk about messy, it is more about the grease splatter covering everything. The side tables, the legs, the patio etc.

For surface clean up, all I do is after every cook I crank it all the way up for 5 minutes, quirt the top down with water and let it boil. Wipe down with a bar mop. Then while still hot I run a line of EVOO across the top and wipe it to a sheen and cut it off. No build up no scouring, ever.

Yea, @Curtis_H has that one but the whole things a griddle. Works well but isn’t exactly a blackstone. It’s like a propane non stick skillet. Easy to clean for sure

I became more older yesterday and my parents got me a 28 inch Blackstone that I didn’t even ask for. This thread is timely. Only question is should I take it back and get a 36” or just stick with the 28” since I already have it

That’s how I clean mine, it works perfectly.

The thing I like most about the Blue Rhino is the cover that folds out into a nice shelf/work station on each side.

I have a 22" adventure ready with stand I take camping and tailgating. I have a 36" for the house.
