After hauling this pile to NC only to break another tranmission case, I brought it here to fix the trans mount issues. Kinda snowballed into a complete build.

Only before pic I have.

After many hours of cutting and grinding on frame we sat the tub back on.

Forgive my ignorance, but was there any reason that you couldn't use the original roll cage and beef it, or was it built of sub-standard materials? I've seen your work and it's always first rate.

Original cage was not tied into the frame, and did not fit close around the dash ( was made to use a windshield). New cage is .188, .155, and .120, not just .120 which is pretty easy to dent. It goes behind the dash and is tied in at numerous places from the front to the rear of the frame. Should have none of the frame flex it had before. Fits tight around the body, so hopefully the body won't get too smashed up.

Wow... really coming together nicely. Cage out of .188? Gnarley

Nice work, Jim!

I can't wait to get my hands on this!

Looking damn good. Just need to talk Austin into doing this.

Man, this looks good. I particularly like the front tube work/hood.
