Bought an old BTF U4 buggy

Cooling system bled and put a few heat cycles on it. Need to wrap up a few things and should be ready to head to the dyno on Tuesday for a tune. Sounds absolutely wicked

Serious question, because i really don't know crap about performance engines. What rpm does one with that kind of lope have to be at to smooth out? Just curious for the sake of a rock crawler that could run around at low rpm. I know you go out west a bit.

The idle is set to 950rpms and smooths out around 1100. Between the stall @2800rpms, 4.3 Atlas, & 5.13s it crawls very smoothly. Also has instant throttle response that will light up the tires when needed for that east coast wheel speed.

Figured while I'm waiting on the radiator I'd put some lipstick on the pig. The wrap is aging and I smashed the passenger side in a big rock sticking out coming out of Chadillac at GER last fall, if you know you know LOL

Going to go back with the same color wrap but going to change the stripes up a bit. It's cheap stuff from Amazon and I got enough to wrap it three times for a few hundred bucks. Surprisingly it has held up really well.

Rear upper quarters stripped and made new exhaust trim rings.

Passenger side I beat out after the rock facelift 😂 Lots of dollie / hammer and planishing hammer work coming up. I would rather take an ass whooping than do body work. Good thing "good enough" is good enough with a wrap 😂
