Brain Teaser

She better be a good doc....

Whan I am young I walk on 4 legs
when I am in the center of my life I walk on 2 legs
When I am old I walk on 3 legs

What am I

Human. a baby crawls on all 4s, as one gets older, you walk on two legs, as one gets even older, you use a cane, the third leg.

fine job

You have a chicken, a fox, and a sack of grain and must get all 3 items across the river in your canoe. You can only take 1 item across at a time because you have a small canoe. The chicken will eat the grain if left alone with the grain. The fox will eat the chicken if left alone with the chicken. How do you get all 3 across when all you have is yourself and the canoe?

Chicken first, grain second, take the chicken back to the other side with you, take fox leave chicken, go back for chicken.

This way works well, but I say

Tie the chicken to the fox to the boat.

Throw the chicken in the water, which is tied to the fox.

The fox , who is tied to the boat , chases the chicken.

I will hold the grain while the food chain rules go into effect, and me and the boat are towed to the other side.

This may be where the first idea of a winch came from.

Heres one and its probably pretty easy for yall but,
A man and his son get into a car accident, both are seriously hurt. The both are taken to different hospitals. When the so arrives in surgery, the doctor looks at him and says, "I cant operate on my own son". Hows this possible?
The surgeon is his mother.

LOL!!
Thats sounds so complex!
I say lets jus load em into the Jeep, find a shallow crossing, and ford the river. They'll be so busy holdin on, they wont even think of eatin!

The man who made me did not need me.
The man who bought me did not use me.
The man who used me did not want me.
Who am I?

a coffin.

Not possible - surgeon says "it is my son", not "it is my grandson". Operation is on the boy, not dad.

Nowhere in the story did it say the young boy is the one being operated on. It just says the son. Could also be the mother, but could also be the grandfather.

Ok heres another one.Its a little Johnny joke/riddle.
After a long , hard labor, his mom has given birth to June, her third child. She had no pain medicine and the labor reminded her of when she gave birth to her 1st child, who she named
April. After her 1st child was born, she said to herself ''The next time I give birth to a child, I will have an epidural.''
Well she did have another child and an epidural, but what was the childs name?

kids name was epidural.

the coffin one, how do you know the guy that used you didn't want you, he was dead.

well the surgeon is supposed to be the mother but i mean if you look at it in a more complex way yes it is possible it could be the grandfather just not an answer that most would think id say, least not one id heard.

not sarcastic, looking for any interesting good answers. I have one I'll share later.

Which came first, the Chicken or the Egg?

This is an easy one.
Scientifically scpeaking, it has to be the egg.
Why?
Viewed from the point of genetics....

Chickens have not been around forever. Started out w/ microorganisms and went up from there, right? (Evolution).
So there is a specific combination of genetics that makes it a "chicken". Other things may look kind of similar (e.g., duck?), but technically is a different species.
Before the first chicken was omething else, REALLY close - we'll call it "pre-chicken".
Genetic variation happens between generations, when combinations go from parent(s) to offspring.
Pre-chicken lays an egg that is, well, funky - genetically different - a mutant pre-chicken - and you have the egg that will become the first chicken.
End of story, easy enough.
