Brown Mountain orv

Is Brown Mt worth the hour and a half drive? I was contemplating taking the YJ as a trial run.

Not in a jeep. Think you can only do the main trail (road). It's dirt bikes and sxs's mostly. Only thing I ever rode there is my old 4 wheeler.

Only did it once, but that was when we also ran SEVERAL snow covered back roads and ended up around Boone

Probably not worth 1.5 hour drive, but that may depend on what other options you have near you. For just a test drive, it might be fine. I think the only trails open to 4x4's are trail 1 and 8, but it has been many years since I have been there on a dirt bike.

I enjoy it. Ran it last year in the power wagon and it was much more rutted and rocky than i remembered from the xj run a few years back. Nothing difficult but still fun.
