Does anyone know how many miles of trail I can ride at brown mtn with a Polaris ranger? I know that there is about 6 mile of jeep/ buggy trail, was trying to figure out if I should take 4 atvs or 1 sxs. Thanks

It's been years since I was there, but I'd say you can spend all day riding easily. If you wheel it, trail 2 (maybe wrong # but it's a one way trail that is the first left out of the parking lot) would be a blast and was always one of my favorites on two wheels.

So either way I can ride all day?

Disclaimer: I don't know about width regs at all, but 6 yrs +/- ago I saw everything there. Pretty sure I saw someone on here on an atv trail. I rode my Honda over the hood onto the bank before roosting said driver, you know who you are :flipoff2:

Double check regs, but all day yes. You will loop back to some common ground occasionally. The trails are fun. I'd ride a dirt bike for a day, camp, and ride again. It's beautiful and lots of fun, too bad the full size stuff isn't worth the tow for me.

Edit: you should be able to ride everything that isn't single track dit bIke only. Even the two way atv trails back in the day would fit a full size rig on them if you could drive.

I know I've passed some rangers up there riding rangers around. I would say you're fine, they don't really check any of that and one time me and some of my buddies got talking to them on dirt bikes about bringing crawlers up there, specifically my samurai I had at the time and he basically said if you can fit and not be a trail plug that nobody would have a problem with it but I never actually took it up there

Sounds good enough

@shawn my 570 sportsman measures just over 50" wheel to wheel, that seems pretty tight.

I don't make the rules.

I don't know about Brown Mt, but some places actually have posts in the ground to limit the vehicle width. Figure a widetrack RZR is basically the same track and wheelbase as a TJ.

I understand rules are rules, maybe it's time for a gas gas.

Brown and Brushy Mtn are a blast on bikes. We could ride fairly well when we went to brushy once. Spoke w owner and he told us his favorite loop and said if you ran it twice you would have been on a good ride. Took us all day to make one loop. It was mostly all single track.... absolutely fantastic.

Buy two gas gas and I'll ride w you. I want a two stroke :D

You still have the same address right? whqt size and color would you like, I'll have my personal assistant deliver it tommorow!

I took a maverick there (67 inches). It was tight, but I enjoyed the technical stuff. Only costed me a front fender. A few parts of the trails were a no go. It's been a year since I've been but I didn't see any width restrictions posted.

Same address. EC 300 either racing or replica. I like suprises, so you pick the color!

His son Tyler is hard to keep up with!

My favorite is 9c, then up 1A past the track. Mile marker 16-21....fast section. I get tunnel vision a the top of the hill just past the single track entrance like I use to racing road course. I "snap out of it" around 23 and wait for the guys riding with me

I love brushy!

Honestly, I've never gotten over to Brown :(

Every time we thought about trying it, we just stuck with Brushy. I really need to venture over there and see what it's like

Been there a couple of times on the jeep, not a lot of jeep trail but something to do when I'm around the area. Really surprised me how sandy it is
