Building question

Then you tear it down and remove it...or get fined X amount per day (typically $50.00) until the non-permitted structure is removed. I have done this before (several times actually). That is just from the zoning side. Inspections is another matter. Our fine here is $100.00 PER PERMIT, plus you must purchase the permits you didn't get in the first place. Most places charge double the permit fee (although I've seen triple before).

What kind of car do you drive? I've got a thread you need to report to.

You asked a question and I answered it. It's not my fault that people broke the law. I have to do my job and that's part of it.

That said, all that is a worst case scenario. It's just an example of what is possible.

Yepper pay now or pay more later. I hope to make some calls tomorrow and get something started..I've done a crap load of reading today and down loaded some forms to print and really read into. Thanks for the help so far guys.

Again....just stating the worst case scenario. Very rarely does this happen.

The only time jurisdictions take this course of action is when they deal with people who refuse to do what they need to. No "chest puffing", just stating a fact.

I'm done arguing with you. Obviously you're the type to do what you wish and then take issue when the punishment comes.

You might be done arguing, but you're not done proving his point, huh?

It's a shame "the punishment" is too long for a vanity plate.

Well got my quote from Morton today they want 80k for everything but electrical. Seems like it's close to 30k more than say mid state metal or hanson. I really like their product but I'm just not sold. Going to talk to a local contractor and get a few more quotes. To add also we have resolved the issues about the land.
