There is a paved road like 100 feet from the bottom of that trail. We had to take Butch out that way after he broke all his steering equipment. It's a long drive back around thru Mountain City, but you can bring a trailer right to the trail head.

That is exactly what we did...we sent one rig around through town to get the tow rigs and trailers and bring them back to that point...it just took us 8 hours to get the rigs from the rock garden far enough down the road to where the tow rig and trailers could get to them...
