Callalente July 2cd to the 5th...

Like he said before...all you had to do was back up 25ft into that "gully" as you put it, then pull back up. You didn't even have to get OUT of your rig, just kindly pull to the side, let us pass then pull back up. You ended up making a bigger deal out of it than it was. If you're worried about stepping out into a 30ft ravine, then do what every other logical person would do and climb out the OTHER door of your rig.

I talked to Robert a little while ago. He didnt break a hub, it was a Longfield birf and inner axle and the front ring gear. Another tough weekend for Robert.

Wow....I'm speechless

Or just don't park in the middle of the trail.

Sooooooooooooooo, i had a great time. Anybody else? Did you see a ugly black heep-j? That was me.

I had a good time eventhough my rig only ran for about a mile...lol. Don't know if I saw the black jeep.

I had a great time, too. First time I had been out in months, but I puttered around on the bunny slopes and watched everyone hit the tuff stuff. Highlight of the day was FINALLY getting Jeff's tow strap straightened out enough so he could push that Cherokee from Sanford out of the trail Saturday night.
J/K - it was great hanging out with you guys. You fit right in like you'd been there for years. I guess that's a compliment...you may not agree when you get to know us better.
Anyway, it was nice to get back to Mtn City again and great to have a place like this only an hour away. I hope to be back to support the Toy Run coming up.

4th campsite on the right. Orange club logos. Across the road from John and Slick.

Couple of shots from the weekend...had a blast!

Jamie drives the White CJ with the snazzy retro white wheels::huggy:. He goes by heepj-7 on here.

Maybe next time we will get to wheel a little more with ya'll instead of watching your buddies get off the AORC trail in one piece!!

BTW- Anyone cut any of those low hanging trees off of Armor-All or am I going to have to bring a chainsaw for my next visit??

Nope...I'll bring a saw next time I go up. I want to clear the next section of Armor-all..all the way to the road :)

Let me know when you go- I can be over there in 30 minutes! Of course we would have to make it wide enough for the gray rolling roadblock that I drive!:shaking:

I'll do it...I'll pm you my #. It'll be a few weeks..I gotta fix my junk. There are a couple more waterfalls up through there.

Justin, long time no see. Did you keep something enough together to finally wheel in? I need to get up to Boone sometime, I'll have to give you a call a swing by.

Looks like you guys had a good time, damn I need to get something back together.
