Driver status only, it should see only performance and comfort upgrades only. with the built SBC I should have plenty to waste money on. This is going to be a quick and aggressive street jeep. I may tool around URE once in a while but I doubt it.

i want to use it to cruise around my home town and drive to work occasionally when weather is bad.
 
Greg - looks like Ridgerunner said his tank was bad. If it's the same as an 87, you can have the one I just took out. No cuts or leaks - matter of fact it's about 3/4 full (how come whenever I have to take a tank out it's always near full). I want to keep the sending unit, but you can have the tank (I did a quick, 5 min search, didn't find interchange on tanks).

BTW I got my carpet from Summit Racing. It's the same stuff everybody else sells just cheaper.
All the other resto stuff I get from BJ's. Just plan ahead. They are slooowwwww...

I have a large order coming soon, i hope. I hate to hear they are slow.

After discount the passenger carpet was only $122. That seemd more reasonable in my book.

Ridgerunner hooked me up on the gas tank parts I needed and some (all) of the dash parts, switches, guages, unmolested wiring harness. THANX!

The 383 was a selling point to me. I'd rather have a sbc any day of the week. easy to get parts for and easy to make HP.

I know that upsets purist such as yourself but....I got this one first now:flipoff2:

Tony, I'll call you with any non repopped needs. How about a center console or jump seat or nice alternatives?

It is every bit as clean as he described and it looks in the pics, but everything still needs finishing from the windows in. I am pretty close to getting there though.:rolleyes:
 
I drove it around this weekend a bit. I am still waiting for the title to get here so until then its a YJ.
