Cherokee Rough Idle and Misfire

Had a real rough idle and misfire. Started only when in reverse, then started all the time. Changed Tps, Iac, Coil, plugs, wires, Map sensor , Distributor, Cap And rotor button. Still had a Map sensor voltage code. Started chasing the wires to the Map sensor and found a brake in the signal wire. Just thought i woud post this so if someone else had this problem it might not take them all day to find it like it did me..LOL.. Btw this was on a OBD1 system..

hey also add in another ground wire to the tps, clean out the funky connector on firewall driverside or bypass it if you don't mind wiring. ive owned more renix jeeps than the junk yard has and well, ground wire to tps is almost always not enough and the gunky connector on driver side firewall really should be thoroughly cleaned or removed and straightwired. trust me big difference on those renix jeeps. alot of current gets lost from age through those connectors and such.
