CJ7 trail rig/dd

front susp.

You could remove the rear shackle mount on the front susp, then cut and sleave a peice of round tubing into the frame, incert bushings and your shackls will swing from the center of the frame. that should lower it about 2 inches. If I remember correctly, you will need to raise the rear spring eye on your front leafs 4 inches in order to lower it 2 inches ... It has been awhile since Ive done this, But I had to do the same thing about 10 years ago on a YJ I built so that it would sit level .... JUST A THOUGHT

Looks like it comming along nicely, wish I had time / skills to do that kind of sheet metal work.
I had thought you wanted to go with wide trac axles when we talked last July at the Jeepin 4 the cure.

I would like to have a set of wide trac cj axles but the narrow trac axles were sitting beside my shop. I can always change it later I guess. Thanks for the Idea raven mad guy:)

Well since PSN is down I have had some time to kill :) . I finally figured out how I was going to tie the cage to the body. I cut it down a little bit because I couldn't mount a seat to the under bars because my head would stick through the roof. I made a dash panel at work out of .100 material.
