Chevy's Autumn Thump at Uwharrie -October 21st

October 21st, 9:00 AM, El Dorado Outpost!
The colors of the leaves should be near the peak of the season!
Come wheel with the CK5 crew!

I'll try my best to be there. I would love to wheel with some fellow k5er's.

We'll save ya a spot...............

what trails are yall gonna run...i might try to tag along but my rigs only setup for easy-moderate...although i did end up running rocky mountain loop due to some bad instructions

There might even be a *gasp* TJ (assuming CK5 doesn't care, a buddy of mine wants to come too).

I'm gonna try and embarrass myself in the Yukon again.

I do have that weekend off of work so I'm good to go. And I hope my friend has my rocksliders done by then. You know how it is with free stuff. They always put you off last.

OK, a couple of guys have PM’d me asking about a group photo shoot and getting the group together toward the end of the day for a cookout, before those not camping, start heading home.

So, I propose:

Getting some good photographs of “everyone†in a group shoot at Eldorado Outpost about 9:00AM. As y’all arrive there, start forming a semi-circle facing the highway (East) for the best lighting. Then, we can air down together, form up behind Bushwhacker, and get some good video/photos of the group rolling out in line as well.

Mmmmmm……..burgers!

About 6:00PM meet at the overnighter’s campsites, and I’ll bring 25 pounds of ground chuck (hamburger) patties to grill up and 72 buns (or more) and a gallon of mustard/ketchup and a sack ‘o Vidalia onions. That should be at least two apiece. I’ll have a jar for donations to help compensate for the price of the burger/buns etc.

We’ll need a couple of grills though, any volunteers?

Well that at least gives me a deadline to 'finish' this project. I hope to be there. Maybe bring my friends YJ too so I can park on top of it.

Do you have to be part of a club or anything. Would love to joint in and get to know some of you guys.

Well, it's a trail ride to get all the CK5 (ColoradoK5.com -Chevy trucks club) members together for wheeling and socializing actually.
Some members bring friends and/or family along with other makes, which we welcome, might make a convert or two.

Ya don't need to be a member, but we hope yer driving a Chevy!!!

Oh, yeah........."Gotlabs" is a very involved member of CK5.........just his rig is under construction......bad 1st Gen Blazer!!!
So, to support the CK5, he's showing up in a cough-cough........Taco..........:shaking:

daddy and ill be there that weekend. technically im a member of CK5, theres some pretty good info there, most of which can be applied to RCs, so as long as you dont mind two RamChargers showing yall up :flipoff2: well tag along with yall.
