club challenge

The running half of the Carolina Rock Krawlers are in as well, mike you don't stand a chance.
 
We talked a little more about this the other day. What we are thinking is run what you brung with like a 4-5 rig minimum for each club. Making it a timed event on a set course from one end to the other at the playground. Winches and straps alowed. Take the total time for each club and divide by # of rigs run by the club and the best average wins............ The carnage trophy and hold it till the next event.


I think this would show how well a club works together as well as how well they can build rigs. :beer:
 
I think it's a great idea. I'd be all for it but 2 of the 5 members of Wreckin Crew are in the sandbox doin a 14 mo. tour (Jeepgod & Marine02). BoogerCJ7 is still running 1/2 ton crap and z50k2 drives like a girl :D . bla bla bla....

Get it going and I'll run it by them. I would love to see an anual non event like this. Sounds like lots of fun... keep it light and not too competitive ;) .

I'm gonna try to swing in there Friday morning before noon to say hello and get a quick look at the place. Sounds cool. :beer:
 
Glad to see this idea still exists...We're VERY INTERESTED! Like the "run what ya brung" approach. Seems fair. Let's make it happen.

We and the NCKrawlers are still up for it. Haven't check to see what the concensus is on the mud devils site, but we'd like to see it happen.

Our club has CONSIDERED making a donation to your park for improvements that you guys may be looking to do. The club challenge may help convince our members it is worth it. AND we are looking at doing another fund raiser. No promises yet, but it is being talked about.

The Idea ain't dead!! We need to get together and make it happen. But the real question is when will your buggy be realy alive :confused: I guess you have you will need 2 years to finish the swingset build first :flipoff2:
