The opening of the CMA awards tonight was the best showing out of Nashville in years. It was what I call country music and brought back a lot of great memories of my childhood with my 2 Pappaws riding around in their old trucks. Those were the good old days!
 
The best thing about it... no damn political commercials as of yet. The only reason I'm watching is the tributes to the older country artist.
 
It started off well and then they went away from the intro music to all the new shit. Also why the fuck is beyonce playing at the CMA's? Kinda like having Alan Jackson opening for rap noise maker.

I do not listen to main stream country and I agree that most music coming out of Nashville is shit now days. I was talking about how surprised I was about the tributes to old country from my younger days at the start of the show. As for baseball the only way I could ever stand to watch it was from the beer line at a thirsty Thursday game. Sturgill Simpson and Whitey Morgan are some of my favorites as of now.

Baseball is the only sport I watch and haven't seen much of it this year. I also understand unless you've competed in the sport at a high level or really get into all aspects of the game, it's probably like watching paint dry.
Megyn Kelly ruins Fox news for me, they're just like every other bullshit,biased news outlet.
 
Meh, she's easy on the eyes. The contrast between what fox vs CNN was reporting last night was downright comical! Definetly biased but I'm aware of that and sometimes enjoy it;)

Tonya doesnt listen to country unless she's w me and it always Outlaw Country on XM.She was askin me who all these people were last night and all I could say was hell if I know.I was kinda surprised not to see sturgill last night but we were flipping back and forth between Oreilly/Megan ,world series,and the CMA's so he might have been there and I just missed him.You need to look up Paul Thorn and listen to some of his music.
