Cold shower...

Bored so here is my recent discovery. My wife and kids used all the hot water and in the middle of my shower the cold water hit me. At first I was like most " Who used all the hot water?....but then I realized it wasn't so bad. Actually, it was quite invigorating. Since then I have been taking cold showers on purpose and it truly wakes me up better than a hot shower. Kind of feels like taking a shower under a natural waterfall like in commercials. Who knew?
Try it and let me know your findings...Ha!

So today, in 2017, you suddenly realize that cold water is more shocking to your senses than hot water?

Who knew you could live your entire life and not grasp basic concepts that everyone else feels are obvious? ;)

again..the roman's did this crap first. You went to the bath house,slaves would stoke the fires for radiant heated floors....hot water baths and then you would go into the cold water to close your pores...lather up with oils and get all smellum good and then punch out to the local coloseum for a little Christian/ tiger one on one wrestlin matches...

yea,cold water showers are just like that
 
But how long does it take to extract your testicles afterwards?

Cold showers have their place - like after doing yardwork in the summer. Awesome then.

But in the morning I need that time to wake up slowly and think about my day. I generally have the best epiphanies in the morning shower.
 
That's all I do in the summer time is take cold showers. Long hot day, jump in a cold shower and feel your core temperature drop back down to humanly levels. Awesome.
 
Gotta question. When people say morning shower, do they take two a day. I only shower before bed. Don't understand folks that don't shower before bed.

Myself.

How can anyone stand that? My wife is bright pink/red from head to toe when she gets out.

We have a Roman shower but no-one stoking my fires...
 
I've been taking cold shower most my life and don't get no better! But I'm in the shower less than 5 mins... unless axle grease is involved

And conversely...I cant imagine anyone not taking a shower in the morning before venturing out to the public. Sleep is when your body sheds dead skin cells. And I sweat like a mink in my sleep. The thought that someone sleeps and sheds all night then jumps up and says, lets get dressed and go is just... foreign to me.


Each his own I suppose.

Converse to the converse, I tend to get dirtier than a Mexican chain gang at work during the day. If I didn't shower before I laid down to sleep I'd have to wash my bedsheets every single day. I still wash them every two-three days anyways.

Which is why I shower twice a day.
Once when I walk in from work and once first thing in the AM.
