Computer virus writers need to be strung up by their ballsack

Ubuntu is easy and you do not need any anti-virus or anti-spyware.

Bullshit.

Also, Ubuntu specifically has been terrible for about five years. Their "disappearing" repos can suck it.

Bullshit.
I use it every day. It is indeed easy, I don't and have not ran any malware program ever. So, no it's not bullshit.
Your experience may have been different than mine (and others) but that does not make what I said untrue.

Most all this later charter is over my head other than the names I recognize. But from my recent experiences Microsoft is on my list of hackers who need neutering.

I used to run Slackware. Wine let's you run most windows software under Linux. Of course of you just leave the network disconnected, don't do email or surf marginal sites and live behind a router with non stock passwords you don't need av or am software on any windows. My office PC runs w2k pro but never has internet, so I don't worry about it. It has all my sensitive information. Anything hooked to the internet has nothing that is worth saving and can be wiped clean if an infection were to occur. That's my two bits.
