Concealed Carry 9mm

Shield is a nice piece.
Make sure you have a post recall trigger. Repair times have been ridiculous according to a few of the guys in my club.

My husband & I both have m&p shield 9mm & are really happy with them! They have a good feel & overall great gun. If you're ever in the Salisbury area you're welcome to come try it out! ;)

I'm a big fan on the m&p shield 9mm as well, but I carry a pf9. Very small, and I actually want the heavy trigger and long pull. It'd be diffent if it was a target pistol, but its not. Most of the time its a pocket carry,I want to reduce the chance of it going off as much as possible, but i dont want a safety. Never know what could happen if you fall, get in a car accident, or get hit by something. Gotta figure, should the time arise that I would actually need it (and i certainly hope I never will), the last thing I'm going to be thinking about is proper trigger pull, its more than likely going to be pull the pistol and yank the trigger.

Still wanting something different though. For the time being, the pf9 still serves its purpose.

.... is essentially the kel tec pf9.

Nah ... not even close.

The PF9 is a lot smaller and thinner. I carry one 99% of the time.
No issues whatsoever.

When SCCY started up and designed the CPX-1, the engineers and designers were from Keltec....But I think im thinking of the p11.....

EDIT: It is the PF9 that the CPX is modeled after.

P11 here on my person as we speak. I purchased a 13 round magazine for it for added rounds. It's light, small and has a long pull as stated earlier. Been really happy with it for some time now.

:edit: P11 not a PF9

Where did you find this 13 round magazine? Got a linky? :D

I've got a 12 round mag on mine, but I believe it can be modified with an extender and spring to hold 13. 12+1 is a good enough head start that I've not bothered.

Where do you acquire this from?

I missed it was a p11. I carry a pf9...

Thats why I couldn't find it, it's not made. My master powers of googlefoo would have found it..:D

Which one do you own?
I own ... and carry everyday the PF9. I chose it over the SCCY.
I will grant you that they look similar .... actually the SCCY looks more like a P32.
But they are 2 entirely different guns in the hand.
The PF9 is a single stack, and lighter.
The SCCY is a double stack .. wider, heavier and I will admit it feels good in the hand, but much different than a PF9

I own the SCCY. Yeah, I like the feel of a thinner gun...probably because I have smaller hands..
Will def be checking out the Shield and Might get a pf9 for the wifey.
