Waste Mgmt wants $375 for a dumpster, all inclusive. 20-yard. Anybody know where I could find something cheaper? Maybe a 10-yard? I don't know who else offers the service.

Jackass. No, well, yeah, that would be part of it. No, I'm ripping out the master bath, and with my little ute trailer, I'm gonna be running to the dump every other day. No fun, and it's going to get pricey that way, too. Dump ain't cheap anymore! Also, I think construction materials have to go to the other side of town. Not sure about that one, though.

That is def. true, construction materials have to go to the construction landfill. It's the one all the way over off of the south end of 150.

I pm'd ya a number to a friend of mine. He has started a dumpster business and may give you a good price. I'm not sure of his rates or anything, but give him a call, he's in Mocksville. His name is Ronny.

I don't wish slow times on anybody's business, but I hope he needs work! ;) It's a long drive from Mox to here.
 
Put it around back and tarp it. Folks like to think it's a public dumpster, and add their junk. Then you got a problem with mattresses and stuff, that can't go to the construction landfill.
 
Look up Yates Disposal. I think they are out of Winston. Maybe Lexington, can't remember exactly. We had a 20 yd-er for a bit. They do have the smaller ones too, I think.


Man, I need to take some Ginko Biloba or something, my memory sucks lately!

Depending on where he drops it, unlikely anyone would see it... OTOH, dead ends are the usual dumping point for the :poop: too poor/lazy to go another 5 miles to the dump...
 
Dylan, I hate to say it, but your bud was $25 more than Waste MisManagement.

Dave, my dead-end's well-lit and occupied. I don't get dumpers. Only an occasional neighbor bringing yard waste down to the lot across the street, which I've got no problems with. Well, there was the one trashy neighbor that dropped a dog house over there.

I think I've got the problem solved. My dad has volunteered to loan me his 10' ute trailer and haul it to the dump when it gets full. The time spent dragging a trailer all over God's creation was what I was trying to avoid. I'm on a tight schedule, and need all the time I can get. That said, if anyone wants to come over and break shit, I'll supply beer and maybe food! :D

Damn, I'd be totally on for that. Too bad the new commute would suck.

Your post doesn't show up in the spam report. Also, as a long-time member and one with a diamond, your link is actually more valuable than the spammer's. By quoting the spammy link, you're not only preserving the spam, you're validating it in Google's eyes.

The best thing you can do is report the spammy post and move on.

Well since this has already turned into a real construction dumpster of a thread anyway...
How bout next time I quote it but leave the link and phone numbers out? Because now every post after #13 doesn't make any sense, and now there's a 10 year old thread about construction dumpsters collecting traffic.
