Couple chassis's

That is NICE, jim. Rockwells and 39s? What case is in it, 205?

BTF Knockoffs

This MUDPRO guy, You should see his products, the quality is unbelievable, I would certainly put his parts up against anyone elses, They are nice. Fair price too without the wait.

Ask him about his new off-road wheel line.

Cool

X2,i just purchased tower brackets, wheel centers, pinion brake brackets.4 bar brackets...ETC...many would agree...he is the go-to man to get quality parts to get the job done..prices are great.

Moved Greg's chassis in after the powdercoat had been burned off, man it looks like ass. Here's the vid of the destruction (staring about 2:22). You can't really see it, but you hear two loud bangs at the end. I think one is the the buggy hitting a rock, just between the shock hoops. Took out the hood, grill, radiator, trans cooler, bent the tube between the hoops, bent both frame rails, and ripped the tube on both shock hoops. The other sound (I think) is the left upper link letting go. It ripped a good size hole out of the top of the diff.

I wondered what that rusty thing under the tarp in the background was. Any carnage pics before it got disassembled? What part of the diff did it put a hole in?? The housing itself?

Not that I know of, he took it apart as soon as we got back.

The top, where the link was welded on.

The show was worth it, atleast from where i was standing.

Any major changes planned?

Not tubing wise.

Smells of a set of steering rockwells! :D

So, about cooking off the powdercoating... gasoline? alcohol? acetylene?

Any issues changing the metallurgy/weakening the tubes?

We just threw it in a bon fire:lol:

They put some kinda acid on it, and put it in the oven at the powdercoater to take it off. It will be sandblasted before it is repowdercoated.

I don't think it gets that hot.

Well, what i heard was a set of 5tons, Carb'ed 572, and swapping to leafs in the front. Should be a sweet setup for sure. If you need any more info then check the fan club web site. :flipoff2:

dead on...the 5 tons are geared 6.44 so the wheel speed should be good. great for jumping and general haulin' ass.

i also heard that travis is putting them under the jeep. i think he wants to have the problematic rear steer issues like the rest of us...instead of wheeling every damn weekend:flipoff2:
