Hey, I came across thsi ad for your "rock crawler" truck.
More than anything, I am really curious about it, I have never seen a truck cab or frame quite like this. You owuld mind explaining it and it's history?
It looks like a truck cab on top of some sort of ATV frame and drivetrain?
Thanks!

Dave

Yes this is a 4cylinder 4 speed fuel injected manual trans. It is a new factory built offroad atv AC,Heat,Radio. 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive. $5900.00 invested.

I replied back w/ a few more questions

If anyone is near Wilkesboro and wants to go by and see it first hand, get pics, etc, I can dig up directions to where I was when I saw it...it's either off 16 or pretty close by there...

Fixed it for you.:flipoff2:

Talked to the guy that owns it yesterday and he said $4000 would buy it. Its not street legal because of emmissions.

Dude wrote back again. He says it is essentially off-the-shelf like that, all his did was add skid plates and the tires. Technically it's an ATV.
guess it falls under same catagory as the Suzuki Carry. Almsot a truck, but not legal to be one on teh road, so technically an ATV. I wish he'd tell me who made it.

Looks like a x90 with some other shit welded to it

He told me it comes from a company called candi out of texas. They are made in china from what I could tell.

Got email back from him, said same thing - but spelled "Kandi".

Found page for Kandi Vehicles, in China... they make lots of ATVs and small side-by-side almost jeepy-things, but can't find this one.

I have a 96 Passat TDI and no it doesn't look like a 96 Passat. At All.
