Crap- rock slide closes I40 at NC/TN border

That slide on 40 happened the night before I was heading back to UT from Salisbury...didn't know how far up they closed 40 until about Asheville. I opted out of going the recommended detour and went to the WCU/Waynesville exit (27) and took 74 to 441...and took that all the way through gatlinburg until it met back up with 40. It was about a 45 minute longer drive, but the view was well worth it.
