Crazy snow in MD

Damn, that sucks!
...hang in there and we'll try to send some warm wishes your way (without rain of course)

That'll learn ya! Next time you get the urge to run off to play Yankee... Ill suggest you do it in Florida!

Pssst - still below the Mason Dixon line

If you goto a restaurant and order tea. what do you get sweet tea or unsweetened tea?

If its not sweet tea you aint in the "south" no more

I have to admit, I'm often compaining about that one.
The all-important Sweet Tea Line seems to be somewhere around Fredericksburg, VA. Def south of DC. When I'm cruising back home from NC, that's about the last place you can stop and ask for sweet tea w/o at least getting a funny look.

In other news, now that I aparently do live in Yankee Land, I'm goin gto havew to break down and buy a snowblower. There was something like 7,500 cubic feet of snow in my driveway. I shoveled a majority of it by hand today... then went to work and did the same around teh building there.
Now I can barely move.

I'm originally from Colorado and that my friend, is a lot more than a shit ton of snow. I'm not sure what they call it after a shit ton, but you've surpassed that. We need someone from Alaska to tell us what comes after shit ton.

They're saying something liek 44" between the 2 fronts that came within 3 days of each other. That > the total aveger for a year here. shit ton indeed.

Shit ton of shoveling:

Made a path just enough for wife's car to get out of the garage.
Bein gan ideio Southerner, I didn't bother to go out and shovel it out right after the 1st dumping, I figured 'What's teh point, I can get my truck out..." Yeah well when Dump #2 came it made it just that much clearer that Wifey wasn't ever going to get out.
Actually this AM I got the 4Runenr stuck just trying to get out, actually had to winch myself back up usin ga try in teh yard. That's when I figured "OK it's time to do osmething about this."
Those "walls" are probably 2.5-3' high.
