CREDIT CARDS??

I use the "credit option and mcdonalds on my bank debit card.. that way i dont have to punch in my passcode in a public place

Get one from BOA! They support the illegals with their card! Just tell them Juan sent you and bring a fake ID. :shaking:

Do some research on the card instead of listening to the crap you hear from people. You have to pay your US taxes to get that card and as long as you pay your taxes, I've got no problem with you especially since most mexicans work 10x harder than your average american.

The bank of america world points card has one of the better award programs.

The only requirement is that they have had a checking account at the bank for at least three months. I don't bank there and I am not illegal so I could be misinformed

BTW this is ALWAYS a good option. It does the exact same thing on the banks end, yoru money comes out exactly the same, the only difference is the merchant is charged the processing fee with a credit push and your bank covers the process fee on a debit push. Oh and the reason its a good idea, if you push credit on a debit card the transaction is covered by VISA warranty, so if some one intercepts your number and runs up a bill you are not liable if they grabbeed it in a CREDIT transaction but are if it is a DEBIT transaction (in truth your bank will limit your exposure on the debit to usually $50 but with credit your exposure is $0) AND you have the VISA warranty on all purchases

This is true- my company has a credit union, and when we joined we were asked to use the 'credit' method whenever available to avoid a charge to them.

Interesting!

I thought the big difference was it took a little longer to go thru, and not immediately.

At least in my banks case, they both go through nearly immediately. Or at least equally. there is a mom-n-pop restaraunt down the street, and if we eat there it goes through the NEXT friday whether we use credit or debit, not sure how or why but it does.

BTW I also bank with a CU and they actually pay us 1% for every "credit" transaction on our debit card. It comes in the form of a separate reward card or some crap, but we got like 300 bucks back last year.

FWIW, I use my credit card for everything. There are no charges as long as you pay off the balance in full at the end of the month. The main advantages to using it are 1) If something goes wrong I have my credit card company behind me ready to get my money back 2) 2% of every purchase goes toward my kids' college accounts. Some cards give 2% cash back, others give airline miles, mine deposits into a 529 account.

Credit cards are not evil, debt is evil.
