again, get the county involved and all of this (conjecture- albeit excellent) is now in the hands of the 'pros'.
they'll shut him down fast

The finishing touches.

What happened around the tree? Wonder where that downspout water is going to go? When he's done with his, I need some more concrete work done at my place.

I say PLEASE let this go for now. The entertainment has surpassed anything I've seen. Even got everybody I work with and their friends into this now.

and I was pissed about my new neighbors putting an above ground pool in right at the gap in the tree line (from a fallen tree) so that I have to stare at them the whole summer. I've got nothing on you now.

And to think I had an entire family of home schooled religious ISIS of some such folk next door at first 7 years ago being why I put the fence there to begin with. They just sat in lawn chairs watching me all day working on my (was a barn/ now a house). Would NOT say a word. Was comical at first. Then it got eerie. Wife caught me dancing in front of them like 3-4 weeks gone by and said enough. So I put that fence up. They never spoke a word, just watched and scooted in their chairs as I put the next section up.

Then after the fence episode at the shop and the original owner at THAT house came and complained to me of it being backwards. So his went up to 8 foot high as well as I flipped it around.

Never NEVER install a fence on your property line where you can see the structural components from the opposite side. Crazy how if it was their fence it would have been OK.

C.O.D. gave me a lot of options but the cheapest was to just turn it around. And jack it on up to the max. And it looks like pure shit now on purpose...

If you're up on the U.D.O., razor wire is totally legal in this zoning. And my next move but it never got to that point... Yet.:shaking:

Too bad this was the only neighbor to ever like me so far. :flipoff2:

Too bad they didn't get to know the rules before playing this game...

Maybe they'll have some hot friends over? I mean there could be an up side.

I'm going to be the devils advocate here. From what it sounds you have had problems with neighbors on both sides for 7 years? Why not move somewhere with more land between you and the next residence.

Not saying this will solve anything currently, but long term would it reduce your stress and worry so you could focus on more important things of your own

1. 7 years of hard labor turning a 100 year old house into a brand new home.
2. The shop...
3. The shop...:flipoff2:
4.Land??? Ahhh, you live in Rocky Mount. I work in Raleigh.

5. Besides about 30K in upgrades / refurbishing, there's absolutely no more 100 year old brand new houses with 3 bay shops surrounded by mostly woods (except 2 sides) and 2.5 acres to boot for 70K...

6. I will NEVER have a neighbor in front of me.

7. Stress??? I'm causing THEM a lot of stress. As my brother puts it, life would be boring as hell without an idiot neighbor to antagonize. Now I have 2 of them...:smokin:

8. I'd miss getting to know the police by first name that are called out at least once every single year during our parties. They know to bring their kids now to go down the slip and slides.:D

9. I'm close to my wife's family that all live near by.

10. I'm closer to Tennessee my home state where I have a lot of family and land waiting on retirement.

If you have problems with previous neighbors and the current neighbors on both sides of you, perhaps you are the problem... Just sayin... (I'm totally kidding, you seem like the type of neighbor I'd want)

I helped Bobby out (The mad concrete-scaper) for a little bit when he first moved in working him around my house. He can mow and paint good. But haven't met too many that can't do that. He came over and showed his ass in front of a couple helpers one day at the shop demanding me work him instead before I laid it on him that the other two guys were my brother and son-in-law. Plus son-in-law was working off a loan, Had to tell him I didn't need him any more then. We actually had a buddy relation going lately with him coming over every other evening watching me work while replacing all my windows and finishing up on front of the house. Then it was obvious he was just coming over to drink my beer. Had to put a total stop to that.

He's still all cool with me right now until he catches wind he's being put on display as the Mad Concrete-scaper. Heck, him and wife came to my last party just 2 weeks ago. And drunk my beer.:flipoff:

I'm glad someone caught what my sarcasm was leading to.

I'm just stirring the pot man, if it were me, if set up a heavy grinding bench near the end of the fence and cover the concrete and cars in metal dust. A couple rains later.....

Not to mention early morning grinding before the neighbor wakes up. Perfect noise to wake up to.

Back to

No, don't give him the 2-3

There does seem to be a common denominator in all the stories.
