Deal Alert

I got the bug a while back when it was 9ish months wait. I’d keep a can or two in line all the time. Then they got quick. I’m around 15 cans and half dozen SBRs. I’m so flooded with stamps I can’t even find an excuse to get one with zero cost stamp.

But get em while you can folks. I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that next admin will reinstate the “tax” to express your second amendment rights with an exorbitant amount.

$200 back when they enacted it was so much money it was intended to make NFA items inaccessible to most of the population.

But back on topic… a suppressed 22lr is about as much fun as you can have with your pants on.
I agree that's why im going to get a couple more. Probably a .45 can even if i dont thread my 45/70 right now

Where do yall typically buy them from?
Hands down the best gig now is Capital Armory if you already have a print file and photo. I highly recommend using a trust in addition. Order online, submit documents and be home to sign for it when it ships.

I use a guy who works out of this house and is the actual NC distributor of all cans that come from them. He asked me what I don’t just use CA and save 6 hour round trip… I told him because I like to see the machine guns on the wall.

If you are new to the game you can use a someone with a kiosk and files single shot trust. Not my gig but the make it simple.

There are a few FFLs on here that can chime in and maybe simplify it. Message me if you need more info

yeah there are some Silencer Shop kiosks close by, seems the easiest way, but wasn't sure.

I really want one for my EP9 but I hear they can have a lot of blowback on that gun also. Was debating on a Flow 9K TI for it.

Silencer Shop is probably the easiest. Ive used silencer central as well. I also have bought one used and filling out the paperwork isn't hard to do on your own either.

You really can’t go wrong with anything top shelf that has a solid warranty. I’m fond of Rugged stuff. Semi local with one of the best warranties.

I haven’t got into the 3d printed flow stuff as of now. I can say my obsidian 45 is stupid fun with subsonic 9 and all 45. Like shoot your neighbors cat quiet.

I’d recommend a 22 can for your first. Nerf guns make more sound. I mainly run CCI standard velocity, but some of CCI speciality stuff is even better.

How about a missed deal alert? Found some 315/75/16 Maxxis Bighorns on the WalMart app for $112 apiece last week and quickly put them in my cart and checked out. Said they would be here by that Friday, but got a notice that the order had been canceled by the seller when Friday rolled around. :kaioken:

I wish I could shoot at the house! 22 pistol or what would you recommend?

I really know nothing about suppressors, but I've shot my cousins 22lr rifle. You could shoot it in a neighborhood, no problem. No one would know. I heard the click, then I heard it hit. No muzzle noise whatsoever. I was blown away.

Not advocating where you should or should not shoot.....

Ruger Mark 4 is a great choice with a wide offering for aftermarket support. Can’t go wrong with any series of ruger, but most folks like the 4 for easy if disassembly. I’ve got several 3 and 4 offerings. Downside is only 10+1

I also have a FN522. Only hammer fired 22 pistol out there and it is 15+1. It’s plastic and aluminum but after about 10k rounds I’ve got no complaints.

My FN ways in wait with an RMR and X300u with a can if anything goes bump in the might at the chicken coop. It’s great for the occasional opossum that gets past the hot wire. That pistol hosts a Rugged Oculus. The bullet impact is the loudest part by far.

Had my nomenclature off, it’s a FN502. Seen here with a Dead Air Mask (fabulous can)
