But I didn't get a sticker. I mean, a banana gets a sticker for being a banana.. I don't really need a participation trophy.
 
So for those of you who voted early, do you realize your vote generally doesn't count?
 
After leaving my voting precinct today, I had a thought....We the people, only vote for those who are local to us, for the most part. I was thinking how some of these people we see in the news, that even though they don't represent the areas that we reside, still have, to a large degree, A direct affect on issues that DO affect us! So, we as citizens can only do so much to fight their stinking thinking! IMO I think all citizens should have input on anyone going into office, be it Senate, or the house, or where ever, just as we do for the president. After all, bills, laws they come up with, or vote on, WILL affect us. Maybe I am wrong, but, that's how I see it.
