Did she have a truck?Unfortunately, no. Had one lined up, and he wasn't willing to deal. Then found out my brother is dragging me to court over mom's estate, so holding off from spending the cash.

Casual high 5 from someone that went through that shit. Keep your head up and about ya.Unfortunately, no. Had one lined up, and he wasn't willing to deal. Then found out my brother is dragging me to court over mom's estate, so holding off from spending the cash.
Hired the best lawyer i could get and said the hell with it. Hate to spend the money, but at this point its just better than dealing with him.Casual high 5 from someone that went through that shit. Keep your head up and about ya.
Man I really hate you have to deal with any of that. A good friend of mine has fallen out with his brother over the past year (mostly because of brothers new girlfriend now fiancee and her comments/thoughts/actions on how to deal with shared ownership of their farm and family land). My friend is Mr. Tough Guy, don't give a shit, drives the hell out of a tractor and smokes 2 packs a day, drop a hammer on your hand and don't even flinch just keep working type. But to see him tear up talking about his brother and how he's lost his best friend over a piece of tail is tough to watch.Hired the best lawyer i could get and said the hell with it. While this sucks, hopefully it is the last thing that makes you feel the need to communicate with him. Itll be worth getting rid of the cancer in the end.Yea I hate it. We've never been close and have always fought. But its been worse since mom died.

We dealt with something similar when my MIL died. She had $200 to her name. My 2 BILs wanted to argue over the house, which was mine to begin with, that I was renting to her. Nevermind neither of them helping to pay for the funeral when her life insurance policy ended up being dead. Ultimately my wife hasnt talked to them more than a few times since the funeral, over the last 3 years. Some days she is sad that she doesnt have any family left, but in the end our life is better without their drama creeping in.
4 door 2500 Chevy with 6.0/4l80.
Not what you "want" but what you need.
I was thinking 2k for the one with more miles on the motor, and maybe 3k for the one with newer motor. Got to look at a couple things before I actually bid, but im really hoping that something works out here. Being down to one vehicle for the family is less than ideal. My dad and my uncle have bought similar trucks from their respective companies in the last few years. Dad's was a regular cab with I think 300k-ish on it, he gave 2k or 2500. My uncle's truck was a four door with the small back doors, almost 300k miles, and he gave 1k for it. Both companies had multiple truck for sale at those prices at the time. Not sure if that is the norm of if both of them were just lucky.
But being sealed bid in your situation, what the trucks are worth isn't the same as what someone is willing to pay. It only takes two guys to really want them and bid too high.
Duane
At that price. Buy both and sell one to cover both. Then you get a free truck
I agree that sealed bid sells only open to employees things "should" sell a good bit cheaper than retail
4x4?
