Dismantling a shed for moving...

I'm in deperate need of a shed. As everyone known building materials are rediculous, and out of principle I just refuse to give in to it.
A couple of folks aroudn me have used sheds for sale, in many cases its the ckassic "If you can move it you can have it cheap" scenario.

Is there any good way to dismantle one enough to get onto a trailer to get home and reassemble (and replace what is needed)?

Pry the roof panels off, pry off the sides, dosconnect the trusses at the midline? I suspect those nailed plates will not be easy to un-nail w/o destroying the wood.

Or, just better to limi tto what can be jacked up and slid onto a trailer and kept whole.

A couple well placed cross braces in the inside go a long way. The roof and shingles should withstand the 50+ mph wind or they’d be gone already. Hire a rollback and roll out.

Just Jack it up and put it on a trailer whole. 13’-6” is max height without a permit and can go to 10’ with just a “sign” (or not).
Load it and send it.

I have moved several on a flatbed. No disassembly required.

the shed I moved had 2 4x4,s going front to back, I bolted another between them to put a strap around and some old leaf springs as sliders under the front and it hand cranked right up on my trailer with a come-a-long.

I assume this was a typo, but its too accurate

Thanks. An 8x10 or so, this seems obvious.
But a bigger one, say 10x14 etc seems like its really pushing it.
Even shitty sheds are vanishing quickly, the one I linked was spoken gor in under a day.

The ones I've dealt with were built from big hoop frames, so they didn't come apart in any simple way. If you had one that was panelized walls and roof, then maybe you could dismantle... But there's a reason they're delivered complete on a flatbed.

I moved mine about 30-40 miles. Got the oversized permit. If I recall it wasn’t a big deal to get the permit

I Moved a 16x24 on a trailer with no permits. I had a buddy behind me with his hazards on. We came across a state trooper running radar and he just shook his head and waved.
