Who's going?

I am paid and getting ready. The Jeep has a few things to get ready, mostly trying to get the "KrawlerHauler" Ready" It's a 1973 Chevy bus, not the long one, not the short one, kinda in the middle. I bought it last year, and just now trying to get her road/tow ready. Has two sofa beds so far, a 12 volt Water pump, porta potty, Coleman hotwater on demand for dishes and shower. Two heaters, Mr. Heater brand, Power inverter( if it works) Going to install a few extra batteries for keeping the 12v coolers running, Microwave.
It has 6 new tires, a Chevy 350 which was replaced in 96, has 15 k on it, 4 speed tranny with 2 speed axle. Have replaced the points dizzy with a electronic one, tune up, and so on. When more photgenic I will post some pics in here under pics section. BTW any artists like to do a big mural on the sides???
 
I got a demo derby to be in at the Shelby fair friday night, but I may leave afterwards and meet up with some of yall. I don't have the jeep ready yet, but I will be with a freind in his Mog probably. :driver:
 
Unfortunately, I'll miss it for the first time in 5 years! :(

The good news is I'll make my sons final CubScout camping trip :rolleyes: and still make it to CN for the ORC-SWB run 2 weekends later... :D
 
yep, can't make it this year either. Been to the past 2 years, what a great time!! I've got no way to get the CJ there... not that it would be done anyway. can't find teh time to finish the lat 2-3 things on it... :(

even if they were done, I can't afford to go.... :p
 
I am trying to get my junk finished up in time to go. ONTHAROX with his tubed yota and i are supposed to leave the triangle on wed. to head up and get some wheeling in before the crowds. Is anybody else gonna be there early?? We could use a trail guide as i have only been once and mike (ontharox) has never been.

Greg, My plan is to be there late Wednesday or early Thursday. You won't be able to miss my bus! I will be arriving with two other friends. Both Hybrids, so we will take the fun trails! Be happy to have you join us. As the time grows nearer, give me a shout and I can let you know a little better when we will get there.

10-4 chip, i would love to join you guys. we plan on camping in one of the fields. oh yeah, please bring a welder to demo. i may need to buy one before the run is over. :rolleyes:

So I see STUDNUTS will not only be attending the DIXIE RUN with his posse, but he also has something up his sleeve that he is bringing with him. :):):) All kinds of people are going to be surprising everyone this year. Whats going on everyone?? Who will we be wheeling with?? Lets see who's coming???

Train Wreck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I have BAD news for everyone. There has been a train wreck. ITS DERAILED!!!!!!!!!! STUDNUTS has become sick and came down with something yesterday and will not be able to attend the DIXIE RUN!! :( :( But there are still a few of us leaving tommarrow from this general area and we will be heading up to Tellico to check in. Anyone else from aorund here going? Thanks.

PS. The chopped up LAND ROVER discovery will not be able to join us either for he is out of town working!! :( :( O well it will still be a blast!!!!

Thinking I might go, have a spot reserved at Crawfords...I'll be leaving Thurday night after work if I go.. if the wife doesn't go I'll have an open seat also. I hadn't wanted to go due to the crowd, but after checking several 4x4 boards it looks like gas prices are keeping lots-o-people at home.
