Do you balance your trailer tires?

Chain store quality. I've been doing business for going on 30 years with the same store. I now drive an hour just to do it.
Find a reliable mom and pop and darken their door. Then follow up and repeat if treated fairly and given great service.
Agreed 100%... did business with a GSO tire jobber for decades and most recently here in VA, but they closed up leaving me few local options:
1) White boys, good service, but charging like they're the ONLY white boys in town
2) White boys, good service, but charging like they're the ONLY white boys in town

Both #1 or #2 will tell you the others are idiots and they dislike each other... with a 99.999% chance they're actually blood-relatives and seizing the opportunity to put a 25+% stomp on their profits (lack of real competition) OR

3) Non-white boys 🇲🇽, decent service & OK pricing, but with occasional "no habla" issues

While totally inconvenient (3+hour roundtrip in the middle of my work day/ and aside from the 2 owners, the rest can't spell "tire"), leaning back towards them...

I do the mom-n-pop thing ...
We have a little old mexican dude in the bad part of town who is good and he bends over backwards to make sure things go great when just my wife has to go by there.
Because of that, he gets all of our tire business.
Occasionally, when I feel particularly ornery, I go to the Hanes Mill Rd. Wally World in Winston Salem.
They know me ... and since I got the judgement from corporate against them from the Regional Manager, they hate me.
They push my stuff to the front of the line, give it to the best tech and the auto dept. manager checks behind him ..... I love to watch them sweat!
